What is life?

I know that this question is a kind of cliché, but this is the truth.
Today, my family sent me an e-mail to inform me that my cousin died today in London (and the irony is that in Facebook, his name is in the list “people you may know”).
When I returned home, I found an ambulance in the entrance, carrying my roommate to the hospital.
In the beginning the doctor talked about stroke, but –thanks god- it was only high blood pressure.
But, it is something very hard to accept it. Until yesterday night we were laughing together and early in the morning I called to wake up him and some hours later…
I cannot stand the idea that maybe he could die.
I don’t understand how it happens. One moment you are alive with all your advantages and weaknesses, with our ego and our humbleness, with our dreams and our losses, with our love and our hatred…
Sometimes we are so fools! We become mad and we fight with people with no reason, or for reasons that after some years seems more than ridiculous.
Things that we let them poison our lives, make us sad, frustrated, unhappy for what?
FOR NOTHING.
Unfortunately, when we overcome from very hard and very difficult situations, we forget them easily. We forget the real meaning of life, which is… It is different for everyone, I know, but I am sure that for all of us there is a common “resultant”. We all think that we are coming to this life to be happy. This is our duty. Be Happy.
When something serious happens to us, then for some moments or some days we change our behavior, something like the New Year promises (I shall quit smoking, I shall go to the gym, I shall spend more time with my friends).
But after some days, we start again to follow our well known motive. Run, work, run, no rest, run, no pleasure, run, run, run.
RUN, FOREST. RUN…
Sometimes, I think that life send us some bad situations to oblige us think the real meaning of life. We are here, in this life, in this planet, in this world to have a nice life.
The majority of us we don’t change our way of life after a grave situation, but some of us, we understand the signs of life, the signs of fortune, the lesson that we must learn!
But, some of us we learn, we feel, we understand, we LIVE…

Isn’t it GOOD LUCK?
